Subaru WRX/STI have always had a top mounted intercooler directly facing the hood scoop, which is highly effective and easy to service. However, owners frequently are faced with excessive collection of debris in the fines and cleaning of the fins which are extremely delicate.
The system is easily detachable for cleaning and service, with quick-release lever system and takes minutes to install. It is sure to add an extra layer of protection as well as peace of mind and enhance the visual appeal under the hood as well.
